In February 2020, I purchased a 17000sf warehouse to be the new home of our growing business. With room for future expansion, my plan was to build an addition 3-5 years down the road. The unforeseen challenges of the Covid-19 lockdowns and subsequent business interruptions changed the way we were to operate going forward. That included making the decision to expand immediately.

I contacted Design & Build only to find out that they did the original design, permitting and build on the building. Scott Eiker and his team did an outstanding job delivering a 33000sf expansion over the course of a very uncertain 2021. They managed the project through supply chain bottlenecks with minimal impact to timing and budget. Their constant communication during the construction process allowed us the certainty of a job well done that included all our needs for the future growth of the business. We are a scientific company with unique requirements. After spending 25 years at our previous building, Scott and his team helped to design a custom building that would suit our needs. All though I was sure we would bother him with some of our hair brain requests and requirements, Scott was able to accommodate each of them. Not only that, but he also made it seem as though our requests were simple and could easily be done. I was told when starting the process of evaluating a builder to get one that answers their phone. Scott almost always answered phone calls, texts, and emails within an hour or two of them being sent.
